Community Resources Unit
A unique area within the Pima County Sheriff’s Department is the Community Resources Unit (CR). This fast-paced unit is pivotal in providing timely, important public safety information to the citizens and media outlets of Southern Arizona. The CR Unit manages the Sheriff’s Auxiliary Volunteer (SAV) program that provides up to date crime prevention information as well as oversight to hundreds of Neighborhood Watch groups in unincorporated Pima County.
