The Pima County Sheriff's Department will be hosting Dispose-A-Med events intermittently throughout the year. These events are offered free of charge thanks to a grant provided by the Department of Justice.
Tablets and capsules will be collected. Please empty your pills in a plastic bag before coming to the Dispose-A-Med Metal or glass inhalation aerosol bottles, syringes, epi-pens, creams, liquids, patches, and diabetic test strips will not be accepted. For safety and confidentiality reasons, any items turned over for collection cannot be returned. We do not accept drugs from commercial organizations. We collected 150lbs at uur last event on 04/26/14. We wish to thank all those who participated in getting these unused or expired drugs off the street.
