Suspect in Circle K Robberies surrendered to Deputies

The suspect in two Circle K robberies from July 3, 2012, contacted the Pima County Sheriff’s Department last night, saying that he wanted to turn himself in. He called from a payphone at a convenience store and explained that family members had told him about his picture being on the news. Deputies responded to his location and took him into custody without incident.
The male was identified as 31-year-old Umberto Robles Durazo. After being questioned by Sheriff’s detectives, he was linked to the two Circle K robberies that occurred on July 3, 2012. Durazo was later booked into the Pima County Adult Detention Center.
Detectives are still looking for the suspect involved in a robbery on June 27, 2012 at the Circle K at 2840 W. Los Reales Road.
