This morning at approximately 2:00 a.m., deputies from the Rincon District responded to the 11,100 blk. of East Mountain Gate Place in reference to the possible sexual assault of three minor children. The children (girls) ages 6, 8, and 10 told deputies they did not know the male suspect who entered the bedroom. After speaking with the victims, the Crimes Against Children Unit was notified and responded for further investigation.

Detectives from the Crimes Against Children Unit have determined that the three girls and their mother were visiting grandparents in Tucson. Last night, the three girls were in a bedroom when a male suspect entered the home and committed acts of sexual assault. The victims described the suspect as a Caucasian male in his 20’s.

At this time, detectives are canvassing the immediate and surrounding neighborhoods in search of the suspect or evidence connected to this crime.

Anyone with information regarding a possible suspect identification is asked to contact 911 or 88-CRIME (882-7463).
