PCSD requesting the publics help in identifying armed robbery suspects.

On May 17, 2012 at approximately 3:50 a.m., deputies from the Foothills District responded to an armed robbery at the Quik Mart located at 3250 W. Cortaro Farms Road. Two suspects, at least one of them armed with a handgun, entered the Quik Mart to rob the convenience store. When deputies arrived a search was conducted; however, the suspects were not located.
The two suspects are described as African American males. One of the suspects was wearing all dark clothing with a baseball cap and the other suspect was wearing basketball shorts, a gray shirt, and a University of Arizona (UA) baseball cap. The suspects approached the clerk at the counter at which time one of the suspects brandished a handgun. They demanded money from the clerk and fled in an unknown direction with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Video surveillance was obtained from the store and is being released in an attempt to identify the two suspects. Anyone with information regarding the identity is asked to call 911 or 88-CRIME (882-7463).
