One vehicle rollover ends in fatality

At approximately 11:48 a.m. today, deputies from the San Xavier District responded to Hayhook Ranch Road in reference to a vehicle collision. Hayhook Ranch Road is located in Three Points, Arizona. The collision occurred approximately one mile south of Ajo Hwy. Upon arrival, deputies found a one vehicle rollover resulting in a fatality. Pima County Sheriff’s Traffic Unit investigators responded for further investigation.
A sixty-seven (67) year-old male was driving southbound on Hayhook Ranch Road when he lost control of his gray 2007 Ford F150. The victim’s vehicle rolled at which point he was ejected. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Investigators indicate that speed and alcohol were likely factors in the collision. The deceased is not being identified at this time pending next of kind notification. The investigation continues.
