Flowing Wells School District Teacher arrested for Sexual Conduct with a Minor

On May 2, 2012, the Crimes Against Children Unit became aware that a teacher from the Flowing Wells School District was possibly engaging in sexual conduct with a minor. Detectives made contact with a sixteen (16) year-old male victim. After interviewing the victim, evidence was collected and processed.
Additional investigation indicated that the teacher, identified as Christina Marie Carbone (DOB 09/20/88), met the underage teen in March 2012 at a social function. The victim is a student of the Tucson Unified School District and was not a student of Ms. Carbone at the time of the criminal activity.
Ms. Carbone has been arrested, transported to the Pima County Adult Detention Center, and charged with Criminal Sexual Conduct with a Minor.
The investigation continues.
