Community Connection

This quarterly newsletter helps connect the public to the happenings within the Pima County Sheriff's Department. Offering safety information and highlights on important laws, the Community Connection is a vital resource for our residents.

Side By Side

This publication, offered quarterly to the Sheriff's Auxiliary Volunteers, highlights reports and activities from the entirely volunteer organization. The newsletter displays how these great men and women work to help the Department and citizens of Pima County by working "Side by Side" with law enforcement.

Field Release

This quarterly publication aims at communicating within our own organization. Offered as the internal newsletter to our employees, the Field Release helps bridge the communication gap within the many facets of our organization by announcing recent changes as well as explaining new programs and resources.

History Book 2003

Published in 2003, the History Book is a pictoral snapshot of the development and changes of the Pima County Sheriff's Department throughout time. From infamous crimes in our jurisdiction to the changes in uniforms, vehicles and badges, the History Book details how we came to be.

Neighborhood Resource Guide

This handy guide, published bi-annually, is priceless when it comes to finding resources and phone numbers for a variety of topics and subjects related to law enforcement here in Pima County. Need to know how to handle a barking dog problem? Want to know the current law on Child Restraint and carseats? Need a phone number for the local courts? View the Neighborhood Resource Guide for answers.

Overview

The annual Overview is a biographical and statistical, year-in-review look at the Pima County Sheriff's Department. View the call load and crime information in the Overview.

Activity Books

These wonderful animated publications are thanks to David "Fitz" Fitzsimmons and his rendering of how the Pima County Sheriff's Department works to keep the public safe. Whether it is our deputies in the field depicted in the Safety Book, or the Corrections Officers at the jail in the Corrections Coloring Book, these books help connect kids with the variety of things we do to keep them safe.
