New Command Center

The Pima County Sheriff’s Department took delivery of an additional command center, Command Post Bravo, in July 2005. This vehicle is equipped with 4-wheel drive, a GPS tracking system, state of the art audio/video system, three seating areas to accommodate hostage negotiations, removable halogen spotlights which can be placed up to 50 feet from the vehicle, removable shelving unit and whiteboard for briefings, and a closed circuit audio/video system to monitor the area around the vehicle.

Command Post Bravo will provide greater access to rural and remote areas as well as situations occurring on Mount Lemmon. This is a valuable addition to the Pima County Sheriff's Department's fleet of vehicles and equipment to further our efforts to fight crime in Pima County.
