On April 25, 2008, at approximately 10:00am, deputies from the San Xavier District responded to a desert area north of I-10 near Craycroft Road.  Deputies discovered a deceased male subject at a campsite.  The male showed no signs of trauma; however, Homicide Unit detectives responded to further investigate.  An autopsy on Saturday, April 26, 2008, revealed that the male (victim) died of blunt force trauma. 

Homicide detectives continued investigating and discovered that the victim had been physically assaulted on Tuesday, April 22, 2008, while sitting under the overpass at I-10 and Craycroft Road.  A witness to the attack flagged down a deputy who investigated the assault.  Contact was made with the victim and two subjects who were alleged to have assaulted the victim.  The victim refused to press charges at that time.

Detectives have arrested brothers Adam Scott King (DOB 01/08/79), and Scott Allen King (DOB 03/24/90); both have been charged with 2nd Degree Murder.

The victim has been identified; however, the name is not being released pending next of kin notification.
