Home Invasion

This morning, at approximately 3:30am, deputies from the San Xavier District responded to the 10200 blk. of South Summit Creek Road regarding a home invasion.

The family consists of a father, mother, 19 year-old son, 14 year-old daughter, and 4 year-old daughter.  The victims gave deputies the following account of what occurred.  Four Hispanic males kicked down the door to the home this morning just before 3:30am.  They entered the residence, demanding money and drugs from the family.  The victims told the suspects there were no drugs and they didn’t have any money.  One of the suspects approached the father and pistol whipped him.  When he fell to the floor, the same suspect hit him with a frying pan and then tased him with a Taser.  The father also sustained a stab/laceration to his upper body.  He was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Another suspect approached the 19 year-old son.  He was also pistol whipped and tased and then bound with tape and hit with a guitar.  The 14 year-old sister was tased when she attempted to help her father and brother.

In addition to the four suspects who entered the residence, it is believed that another two to three suspects were outside in two vehicles.  The vehicles are described as a dark colored Expedition type vehicle and a white four door sedan.  The four suspects inside the residence were wearing ski masks.  All suspects fled in an unknown direction with a small amount of cash and some costume jewelry.

Anyone with information is asked to contact 911 or 88-CRIME.
