Armed Robberies

The Pima County Sheriff’s Robbery/Assault Team is seeking the public’s assistance in locating two robbery suspects who have struck twice in the last month at the Quik Mart located at 900 W. Roger Road.

On July 30, 2007, at approximately 4:10am, two suspects entered the Quik Mart.  The male suspect approached the counter and produced a handgun from his back waistband.  He ordered the clerk to give him money from the register.  The suspects left the store taking the cash drawer and its contents.  They fled on foot from the store location.  The suspects are described as follow:

Suspect #1:
African American male, 6’ to 6’2” tall, 170 - 180 lbs., and 40 - 45 years old.  He was described as having possibly old tattoos of Old English letter on his chest.  He was wearing a white dress shirt, black pants, and a black do-rag.

Suspect #2:
Caucasian female, 5’6" to 5’8” tall, 140 lbs., and 28 - 32 years old.  Suspect has dark hair that is thinning on top.  Clothing was described as a white dress w/red or pink flowers.

On August 25, 2007, at approximately 3:10am, Suspect #1 entered the Quik Mart.  The clerk recognized the suspect from a previous robbery.  The suspect demanded money from the register.  The suspect was last seen fleeing on foot from the store with the cash drawer and its contents.  On this occasion, Suspect #1 was wearing black or dark pants, a blue t-shirt and a green trench coat.  A third subject, an investigative lead, is being sought in this case.  He was caught on the store’s video.  It is not known if this subject is connected to the robbery; however, the Robbery/Assault Team is seeking his identity to continue the investigation.  He is described as follows:

Subject #3:
Caucasian male, 5’11” tall, 160 - 170 lbs., in his late 20s to early 30s.  Clothing is described as a white t-shirt, dark blue denim pants, and black steel toe boots.

Pictures of the robbery suspects are available at the Pima County Sheriff’s Administration Building front desk located at 1750 E. Benson Hwy.  The Robbery/Assault Team is requesting that anyone with information about these crimes or identification of any of the persons call 911 or 88-CRIME.
