Yesterday afternoon, at approximately 2:30pm, deputies from the San Xavier District responded to the 12,700 blk of W. Bristolwood Lane, at the request of the Tucson Police Department, for a check welfare.  Tucson Police Department detectives advised they have been investigating a missing persons report from the 14th of June, and developed information leading them to a property owned by the victim on Bristolwood Lane.

Tucson Police detectives, along with deputies, found a badly decomposed body inside an abandoned trailer.  The body was so badly decomposed, investigators were unable to determine the sex. 

At this time, detectives from the Pima County Sheriff’s Homicide Unit are investigating this as a suspicious death until the Office of the Medical Examiner can provide additional information through autopsy.  An autopsy is scheduled for Friday, June 22, 2007.  Positive identification is also pending at this time.
