On June 10, 2007, at approximately 2:47am, deputies from the San Xavier District responded to the 3900 blk. of E. Agate Knoll Drive for a reported man down.  Upon arrival, deputies found Brian Ivan Santos (DOB 10/13/82), suffering from a possible assault.  Mr. Santos was transported to a local hospital with life threatening injuries.  According to witnesses at the scene, Mr. Santos had been involved in a physical altercation prior to collapsing in the roadway.  The Robbery/Assault Team responded to investigate.

On Monday, June 11, 2007, the Pima County Sheriff’s Department was advised that Mr. Brian Santos had expired from his injuries.  The case was transferred to the Homicide Unit for further investigation.

Autopsy results indicate that Mr. Santos sustained trauma to the head.  Our investigation continues.
