The Pima County Sheriff’s Department’s San Xavier District Directed Patrol, in conjunction with the Counter Narcotics Alliance, conducted a round up of drug dealers along the Benson Highway Corridor last night.  Specific attention on Benson Highway targeted the Ben/Val Apartments at 4675 E. Benson Highway and the Howdy Manor Motel at 3210 E. Benson Highway.

This round up is the result of months of investigation into drug dealing along the Benson Highway Corridor.  Drug dealers have been operating with little regard for residents that live and work in the area.  Several drug dealers have been identified through this investigation.  This joint operation is dedicated to eliminate the “open air” market for elicit drug sales.  It is hoped that the elimination of street level drug activities will also decrease other associated neighborhood criminal activities.

During last night’s operation, the San Xavier Directed Patrol and Counter Narcotics Alliance located and arrested the following persons:
